FIAT ROOTS: The ProMaster City is actually based on the fiat Doblo a popular European van. Chrysler adapted it for the U.S. market with a stronger suspension and a beefier design. CLASS-LEADING PAYLOAD: It has a maximum payload capacity of 1890 lbs which is one of the highest in its class even surpassing some larger vans. UNIBODY CONSTRUCTION: Unlike traditional body-on-frame vans the ProMaster City has a unibody design making it lighter and improving handling and fuel effciency. FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE ADVANTAGE: Unlike some competitors it has front-wheel drive which improves maneuverability and traction in wet or snowy conditions. NO MIDDLE SEAT: Unlike larger vans it only comes with two front seats maximizing cargo space but limiting passenger capacity. TIGHTER TURNING RADIUS: With a turning radius of just 21 feet it's easier to navigate in tight urban environments compared to bigger work vans. 2.4L TIGERSHARK ENGINE: It's powered by a 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir engine (same as in some Jeep models) delivering 178 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque--one of the more powerful engines in the small van segment. SLIDING DOORS: It comes with dual sliding side doors making loading and unloading easy especially in narrow spaces. FLEET FAVORITE: Many businesses including Amazon and delivery services prefer it due to its low operating costs and high efficiency. DISCONTINUED AFTER 2022: It was discontinued after the 2022 model year making the 2021 version one of the last before Ram stopped producing it.
